Chaos ... I wonder if we know each other.  I was affiliated with the SFU team in 97 and started paddling with them in 98.  I paddled with SFU, stuck with it at Lotus, then we became Adrenaline ...

There are 3 of us on the Drunk'n Dragons ... don't know where the rest of the ex-Adrenaline crew has gone.

Hmm... interesting.  I was on the team in '96 when the team was called the Kilted Phoegons paddling out of Lotus at Barnet Marine Park. I actually still have several of the oversized t-shirts that we were selling for fundraising.  I don't think you could've missed me... scrawny Asian guy that never smiled and looked like he had a chip on his shoulder? If I recall correctly, I think I might've been the only Asian guy that year.  Think I was seated in 3-Right... it's all kinda hazy though.

Regarding Adrenaline paddlers, I knew a bunch of them... I'm surprised Denise didn't try to keep Adrenaline going.. she seemed so gung-ho about dragonboating... I bumped into Soriya a couple weeks ago at DragonZone... couldn't remember what team she was with now.

Aside from the paddlers that I paddled with back then... I've also paddled with Jim in '02 when we tagged along with Nokia in Victoria... I also email Marcia once in awhile (she was my co-op advisor when I was up at SFU) and in the last email she told me that she was taking time off from dragonboat this year.

*EDIT* - I mean '97... I was with VO2Max in '96...

Denise is one of the 2 paddlers who wanted to stick around with Adrenaline this year.  

I have the same oversized tshirt from the Kilted Phoegans.  In fact, I have 2 of them.  I didn't paddle that year with the team, though.  Do you remember Mark Robinson?  He's my ex-fiancé, and the reason I got into dragonboating in the first place.  He paddled with us on Adrenaline until 2 years ago, when time commitments didn't allow it any more.

Did you know Tom?  Hmmm - there weren't too many left who'd been on the SFU team. What about Ricky and Newton?  They haven't paddled with our team for a while, but I catch up with them every year at the festival.
