RGL United is a semi-competitive co-ed dragon boat team, aged 18-40 looking to recruit new members! We are looking for members who are committed, willing to learn, and has a competitive spirit! No experience necessary! Where: Granville Island's False Creek Community Center (by tennis courts) When: Wednesday nights at 7pm and Saturday mornings at 8am. What to wear: Dri-fit clothes, a light shell/windbreaker, and shoes you don't mind getting wet. What to bring: A bottle of water, that's it! We'll provide paddles and life jackets. We train for local & out of town competitions that happen during the weekends. The season starts in March sometime & runs until August. Team fees for the year is TBA which covers practice time, and a jersey (any out town accommodation/travel extra). You're welcome to come to a practice to try it out to see if you like it.
