I've blocked out his name but I'm pretty sure some people here will know who this is... it sure is sunny these days.. hope it's not raining in Toronto... Quote chaos: "move out here... and paddle for VO2 =)" XXX: "offer me a job first. but wait a minute, u guys only finished 52nd.. i might as well stay with stingrays. haha" chaos: "ooooohhh.. them fighting words!!! one of these days.. we're gonna go over there and see who's the better one... you're all a bunch of the bottom feeders anyways =P" XXX: "bottom feeders of east coast = A champions in west coast" chaos: "Bring it on!!! We'll make sure stingrays will be extinct afterwards =P" So what's the concensus of this East/West rivalry? Who's got the stronger teams? So it follows that they should have more depth to their overall field. As far as what I've seen, when you compare top teams to top teams, they're about the same anyways. It's too bad there aren't more teams competing on the other side of the country. The biggest festivals for each side (Vancouver, Toronto) typically occur on the same weekend in June. As far as fighting words are concerned, here's my little contribution to stir up the 'friendly competition' pot: "If East coast teams competed here, all they'd do is complain about everyone riding each other's wash." 8) Title: gee Post by: Sun on September 16, 2003, 05:56:40 PM i have to watch what i say to you now chaos! hahaha! err.. i mean, i didn't make those comments! there must be another centre of the universe...
too bad there isn't a huge ass regatta in the middle of the country like saskachewan and everyone can compete there..
