Title: Dreadnought is recruiting. Post by: dreadnought on August 17, 2017, 09:41:18 AM WE ARE RECRUITING! We're looking for new paddlers to join us as we continue our competitive journey onward.
Dreadnought has hit a major milestone this season - placing fourth overall in the Premier Mixed Division at the 2017 Canadian National Dragon Boat Championships. We have also qualified to race at the 11th IDBF Club Crew World Dragon Boat Championships in Szeged, Hungary in 2018. Dreadnought is a competitive team of paddlers ranging from 17-35 years of age with many of us being students or young professionals. For team practices, we hold two practices in the evenings during the week and one in the morning on the weekends. We also have a workout plan which will allow you to train on your own or with your teammates twice a week. All paddlers must be a member of FCRCC - you may join FCRCC anytime if you are currently not a member. If you're interested in taking your paddling to the next level with one of the top technical coaches on the water or looking to paddle with a competitive, lovin' family (hiiiii!), it's easy.
