Title: Vancouver mixed team looking for paddlers Post by: Naluwan on March 02, 2017, 12:27:04 PM Naluwan, a Vancouver team that paddles out of Dragon Zone (at the Creekside Community Centre) is looking for paddlers for the 2017 season. We're a mixed team that consistently medals in B division and have a core group of paddlers that have been together for several years, but we're looking for a few new paddlers who want to win, but also have fun!
No experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to put in the time - we practice twice a week (Mondays at 7:30 and Thursdays at 6:00). Our first practice is March 13th and we usually paddle until late September. We do 3-4 local races a season. We're happy for those interested to come and check out the team for a couple of practices before committing to anything. Paddles and pfd's are available at the club for use during practices.
