Title: FCRCC Presents Flying on Water. Marathon Canoe 101 #2 - May 16 Post by: FCRCC on April 17, 2015, 01:32:05 PM (***Course Extended by 1 Hour***) During this 6 – hour course; participants will learn marathon canoe strokes, boat control (including leans), wash riding (drafting other boats) and race psychology. Video review will round out the day. More than a sport, marathon canoeing is a style of fitness where camaraderie is common place. Imagine the feeling of flying on water while getting a fantastic workout. Marathon canoeing is a low-impact sport which will give your back, arms and abs the workout they are aching for.
You will be sore. You will make friends. You will get wet when learning (tipping not required).
