FCRCC will be hosting a Drummer's Course on April 4, 2015. During this 3hr session; participants will learn, discuss and practise the technique of drumming and calling a dragon boat. Other aspects to drumming will include; voice projection, Dragon Boat Canada Rules of Racing, discuss how to effectively communicate with the steers person, coaches and team, how to utilize the drummer during practises, building different calls and the importance of having a competent drummer and how they can help lead the boat to new and successful challenges and victories. The session will be a combination of in-class theory and practical applications. Presented by; Susan Mott, drummer for the Premier Mixed National Team and FCRCC Premier Mixed and Women’s Programs. Date: April 4, 2015 Time: 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm Location: False Creek Racing Canoe Club and False Creek Cost: $45 for Members. $55 for Non-Members.
