I'm considering an inch difference but won't have a chance to try a 48 til after Alcan. I'll let you know as soon as I determine what I want.

The Sundowner (their 1 piece and more expensive paddle) is awesome, but I would try out the Diablo first before buying. The shaft on the Diablo is plastic (unless they've changed that) and somewhat flexy - good for beginner/rec, but not nearly as good if you're looking for a competitive racing paddle. I would personally spend the extra and get the Sundowner - it is totally worth it. Cheers. |
