As such, we are looking for women with at least one season's experience paddling to join our team. We have room for 3 new members.
A bit about us: :D Snapdragons was formed 5 years ago; some of us have been with the team the whole time, some of us just a year or two. We are women of all ages and professions. We like and support each other, we have FUN, we are competitive, athletic, and we like to WIN! We practice on Tuesdays at 6 pm, we have a very experienced coach and steers person, and we have a couple of sponsors. We have won some gold medals (even at Rio), silver and bronze and we are looking to add to our collection. We are registered for 4 festivals already and we may choose a 5th. If you are interested in learning more about our team or trying out, please email [email protected]. We hope to set our roster by early March, so please write soon. We will be on the water on March 11th for our first practice. Potential new members are welcome to practice with us twice before we will ask you to commit and pay the fee of $350. |
