The goal of this class is to reduce risk of injury and to improve overall physical performance. We will incorporate stretching, balancing & strengthening postures to increase flexibility & torso rotation, improve core strength, and ease back & shoulder pain associated with paddling sports. We will also utilize breathing techniques to increase endurance and improve focus on the water. Instructor: Angela Matheson Dates: Friday, November 29th and Friday, December 6th Time: 6:30 to 7:30 pm Location: False Creek Community Centre Drop-in Cost: $6.50 (tax included) per session All equipment will be provided. No experience necessary. Register at the front desk at least 15 minutes prior to start time. |
