Title: FCRCC - Preparing for a Time Trial Seminar

So you want to learn how to do a great Time Trial...

Veteran False Creek paddler Lori Velisek will be offering a "Time Trial Seminar" on Tuesday Oct. 29th from 7 - 9PM at FCRCC.

This course is open to anyone who wants to improve on their Time Trials in False Creek whether the time trial is 5km,
10km+ or 'sprint'.

Topics to be covered include :  how to to effective starts in an OC1, race preparation & planning, race strategy, how to
paddle an efficient course & ace your turns.  We'll also deal with the psychology of racing and how to deal with factors
like 'the competition', boredom, fatigue, complacency as well as environmental factors such as tide, current and wind.
There will also be time for open questions at the end of the seminar.

Registration is limited (24 participants), so register early.

Cost:  $10 members.  $15 Non - Members

I hear there will be time trial to determine who can attend the seminar.
