Title: mistaken paddle identity @ FCRCC
Post by: angrygirl on April 05, 2013, 12:25:02 PM
Hi everyone.

I am sending this email out because last night, after the Senior A/B db practice at FCRCC, someone walked off with my paddle and left me thiers.  I assume this was a case of mistaken identity.  Please check your paddle(s).

I have, in my possession an APEX carbon fibre blade with Canadian maple leaf tape just above the blade and half way up the shaft.  It also has a total of 4 Hawaiian lilies on one side (3 at the top and 1 on the bottom) and 2 glitter stickers on the T-handle.

My baby is a Burnwater, Carbon Fibre blade with my last name "McLean" on  one side of the blade and a maple leaf on the other.  It will also have small white "Hong Kong "approval" sticker near the top of the blade.  Lots of memories with that paddle...

I planned on doing practice time trial pieces tonight at FCRCC so I would like to get it back ASAP but if not, I am in need of this paddle for this Saturday as my db practice is at 9:30 am.

To whomever has my paddle could you please email me at [email protected] to arrange for the exchange.  Depending on where you are located, I can meet you part way.

Thank you very much.
Anxiously waiting,
Stephanie McLean

it was me... sorry ... got it back to her last night - it's a sweet blade tho'?  about 20lbs lighter than my Apex (which I still love :) lol)

pammywc, if you mix up paddles at the dock, what hope do we mere mortals have :(
