Title: FCRCC Senior A and Senior B Mixed Teams 2013 Post by: timdy.wong on September 19, 2012, 06:42:46 PM **New** FCRCC SENIOR A (40 +) and SENIOR B (50+) MIXED TEAMS 2013 Due to the overwhelming success of the FCRCC Senior C program – The False Creek Racing Canoe Club is excited to initiate two new programs for 2013. A meeting will be held on Wednesday September 26, 6:00 pm at the False Creek Racing Canoe Club for those interested in being part of the FCRCC Senior A or B Mixed Teams. The intent of these programs Is to pull together paddlers from multiple teams who want to race at the nationals/worlds while allowing paddlers to continue participating with their regular dragon boat teams for other events such as Alcan. Jackie Webber FCRCC Club Development Coordinator *********************************** RACE CLASS: Mixed – a combination of men and women with a minimum of 8 men and 8 women PROGRAM OBJECTIVES: Pursuit of excellence: Compete in and win the Senior A and Senior B divisions at Canadian Club Crew Championships in Victoria, July 2013 Yearly training program Select talented and committed athletes Establish a basic stepping stone for athletes to participate on the National Senior A and B team(s) at the world championships in Italy 2014. SELECTION CRITERIA - WILL BE HANDED OUT AT THE MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 26. OBJECTIVE: To select the most competitive and fit athletes within these categories to represent False Creek Racing Canoe Club at the Canadian Club Crew Championships in Victoria, 2013. CRITERIA FOR ALL ATHLETES: To be eligible to compete at CCCC in Victoria, all athletes must be registered with Dragon Boat Canada (DBC) as members of the False Creek Racing Canoe Club (FCRCC).
