Subaru Vancouver Triathlon is looking for volunteers!
All Volunteers will receive the following:
- Souvenir Custom Technical “Race Support” Shirt
- Lunch
- Volunteer Recognition Party
- Valuable Volunteer Draw Prizes
- Satisfaction of helping triathletes achieve their goals!
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Bike Course Marshals
- Site Set Up (1 and 2 days before the race)
- Site Take Down (after race is finished)
- Run Course Marshals
- Water Stations
- Transition area
- Start/Finish Area
- Swim Course
- Kids Run (day before race)
- Registration (day before the race)
Honorariums are available for larger groups of volunteers. For a community group to be eligible for an honorarium the
following conditions apply:
- A group representative must fill out a Group Volunteer Form that includes a listing of the group members
(members must also register through the volunteer online registration process) - Must be a local group (no individuals can be paid)
- The groups must be allocated to the following positions: Bike marshals, run marshals, set up, or take down. The
other volunteer positions are not eligible - A volunteer can only represent 1 group
- Each participant must work at least a minimum 4 hour shift
- Honorariums will donated as follows:
- o $300: Groups of 15+
- o $500: Groups of $25+
- o For Groups of 50+ please contact the Series Communications/Volunteer Coordinator directly
- A representative should be made available for a cheque presentation will be made at a later date
