Just curious as to who is doing your Race Management this year as rumour has it that Harrison did not want Water's Edge this year?   The last time this festival was run by it's own,  the A final race took place at 8pm with numerous technical difficulties and delays all day.  Let's hope this does not happen as this festival has grown to be a good and reputable festival.

weather prediction (as of monday) says high to 26.c  so remember the sun screen

High water levels this year also mean lots of mosquitoes !! pack some bug spray just in case .

It is going to be a fun and lonnngg day of racing.   Final race of the day is scheduled for 5:44pm.... 8))

What were the results?

One West in the only sub 2:00 finish, found the results on Facebook, Harrison Dragonboat Festival (group)

Our 8th annual Harrison Dragon Boat Regatta is completed.  Wonderful weather and hopefully everyone had a terrific time.  A great day of racing.  Please visit our site at  www.harrisondragonboat.com (http://www.harrisondragonboat.com)     or on facebook   and let us know how you enjoyed the event.  We want to make sure it continues to be a great event.  Thanks to G2G for looking after the on water portion.  They did a terrific job. If you have any concerns please let us know as we will be reviewing the event in the near future to see if we can make any improvements.   Unfortunately due to flooding our beach area for the Paddlers Village was a little tight and we couldn't bring in the big screen..... but this was not normal and we should have this rectified for next year.     Paddles up   and hope to see everyone on the water again soon.
