One West is now recruiting for the 2012 season! Initially made up of a group of 18-23 year-olds training for the 2011 IDBF World Championships, One West is now open to all ages and experience levels. A main priority of ours is to foster up-and-coming, enthusiastic individuals into top-level, competitive athletes.

We are looking for team-oriented paddlers who are willing to commit the time and effort needed to push their limits on and off the water for a collective purpose.

• Make the leap to high-level competitive dragon boating within a friendly and supportive team environment

• Receive guidance/coaching on how to optimize your fitness and performance while cross-training in dragon boat, OC1, OC6, and in the gym

• Gain opportunities to travel and compete locally and nationally

2011 Season Highlights

• Silver in Mixed Competitive A at the Alcan International Dragon Boat Festival

• Gold in Mixed Competitive A/Men's/Women's/Visitor's Cup at the San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival

• Gold in the U23 Division at the IDBF World Dragon Boat Championships in Tampa, Florida

Our season has already begun, so act now! We look forward to seeing our family grow in what will be our second official year on the water.
