Title: Swordfish now recruiting paddlers and a volunteer steers for 2012 season Post by: whiterabbit on December 01, 2011, 06:44:42 AM Swordfish is now recruiting men and women paddlers for the 2012 season and beyond.
We are a recreational team with a competitive streak. Our practices start in February and we paddle out of Dragonzone. We are a mixed group, with paddlers of various ages and backgrounds. We have lots of fun in the boat (we're a pretty irreverent bunch)t, but when it comes down to it, we're also serious about our paddling. We expect to be practicing through to September and will be participating in a number of festivals throughout the summer. You must be someone who is willing to commit to two practices a week (one weeknight, one Sat morning), and is willing to paddle hard in the boat. You don't have to have experience, but must be willing to learn. If you are an experienced paddler, great! We don't discriminate. Please contact [email protected] for more info.
