Title: Rankings 2011 Post by: BC Wave on June 14, 2011, 09:06:58 AM Why are there so few teams in this year's rankings? Last year there were so many more teams included. :(

Title: Re: Rankings 2011 Post by: StrokeItHard on June 14, 2011, 10:06:03 AM There are fewer teams nowadays compared to half a decade ago, but in comparison to last year... more teams will be added onto the list as more local festivals are run (esp. after Alcan, a lot of out-of-town & first time teams will be added to the list).

Title: Re: Rankings 2011 Post by: BlueStreak on June 14, 2011, 04:00:18 PM The ladder rankings start fresh at beginning of the year. The current ladder rankings post only has results from the Dash for Charity, FCRCC regatta, and Dragon Zone regatta.
So your team (I'm assuming its VCKC Grand Dragons) has not fallen off the rankings - its just that it didn't participate in any of the above three races to be ranked so far. Once the rankings are updated with the results from Alcan (which should be posted by the end of the week), your team will be back on it.
