It is that time of year again for the VOS Community Cup Challenge which will be held off the waters of the Maritime Museum (Vanier Park) on Sunday, July 10th. This is a short sprint event with a turn for newbie and non-paddlers. It is a great way to introduce your family/friends/co-workers to the sport of outrigger canoe racing and paddling in general. Dragonboat teams are encouraged and welcomed to enter this fun event. Steers people will be provided. What we need from you is a team of 5 or if you are a single paddler let us know and we will find you a crew. If you or someone you know is interested please email me at [email protected] for more info. Cost to race is $10 and we will supply coaching and equipment. Cheers!
