Last year PFK was on the same weekend as the Penticton Regatta, so a lot of paddlers and teams that would normally participate in PFK were off racing out of town. I think it was just a matter of bad timing for the event. Hopefully it will return in the next year or two. It's my favorite event to participate in and it's such a great cause.

The team I created for this event is still planning on paddling this summer and raising funds for bc childrens even though paddle for kids isn't happening this year.. |
