Title: apex adjustable db, epic full carbon kayak (2 piece) & kialoa axel II
Post by: Colossus on November 03, 2010, 05:24:04 PM
Well, I'm finally taking the plunge and selling off my paddles.

1) an Apex 51" (max) adjustable full carbon shaft/blade with aluminum t-grip dragonboat paddle thats paddled in Vancouver, Kelowna, Toronto and Australia.  There is a tiny ding on each side of the blade but it doesn't (or didn't up until I last used it) leak/seep any water.   $100.00 obo

2) a 54" Kialoa Axel Hybrid II outrigger paddle.  The shaft says its a 51", but I promise its not.  $150.00 obo

3) an Epic mid-wing kayak 2-piece paddle for 215-225cm in length.  $350.00 obo

I can be reached via PM on here.

Your adjustable still adjusts?  Mine has been seized for years. I can't believe this the end of your paddling. Sad.  Fighting crime has taken over your passion.

Who is going to keep Brad's stroke rate down if he is seat one again?  Why have most of the tall guys left the team?  I feel like a giant. I need more stories about your stay in Thailand.

Cheers,
Rob

Good question.  Not sure if it still does or not, should have checked.  haha!

I might be able to be convinced to make a guest appearance here and there, especially if my paddles don't sell.  Kamini wouldn't be happy though, I'm no longer 170lbs; I weigh in at about 195-200lbs these days.

and Rob, you ARE a giant.  ;)

.... And my fiance talked me into keeping all my paddles.

BUT, if someone gives me an out-of-this-world offer, I'd be open to those? ;)

PS - my adjustable paddle is still adjustable.

I think it's a wise decision. I dont know If you're a sentimental person, but it'd be a good keepsake/reminder of your good ol' db days come 5-10 years from now.
That sentimental value could very well be worth more than the couple of hundreds dollars its worth now, IMO.

mmmm actually.. yeahhhh...
currency inflates and depreciates. memories last forever. I say keep em too :)

'Been thinking about getting a second hand Apex myself actually...
but er...now... mmm..
I think I'll just work harder for the dollar dollar before buying a brand new Apex.
