Title: Community Outrigger Challenge Cup Post by: three_wishes5 on July 27, 2010, 01:28:58 PM Vancouver Ocean Sports is hosting the CORA Canadian National Championships on August 14 & 15th. Part of the festivities is the Community Outrigger Challenge Cup.
Put together a team of five or six and race off for the Community Challenge Cup β 4 canoes racing head to head for 500 meters with a buoy turn. Races will start every 20 minutes, with a minimum of 3 races per team. The cost is only $10 per paddler and itβs a great way to introduce friends and family to this great sport β absolutely no experience is necessary. Find a team, build a team; help grow the sport and have lots of fun in the process. For $25 per person VOS will also provide a coach and a steersperson for two, two-hour coached practices prior to the event β this includes your race fee and use of all the necessary equipment!
