Title: Trivium Paddle Order Post by: kvnjjwong on June 24, 2010, 11:39:54 PM Hey DBoaters
I'm putting in a order for Trivium S12 Paddles soon. The price for the paddle is $230USD per paddle, plus taxes and about $13-15 for S&H. Only the 'ET' and 'EM' handles are available (refer to website) You can read more about these paddles here: http://www.triviumpaddles.com/new%20triviumpaddles/My%20Webs%20triviumpaddles/DB%20paddles.htm Message me if you're interested. Have you tried the upgrade Burnwater Reactor II paddle? If not, give it a try with our demo blades. Talk to your coach, because she has access to the new Burnwater or just PM me. Title: Re: Trivium Paddle Order Post by: NFW on June 26, 2010, 11:46:15 PM Where are you getting it from? Reason I ask is because you might be waiting (quite) a while.
My team did an order last year (10+ paddles) straight from the manufacturer (Lithuania) and they waited almost a whole season for it. Since they are hand made and the needs outweighs the demands, just be prepared to not be using it this year. When I got mine in early '08, I got it from their North American distributor, a guy name Bill Ting who paddles with LARD (if i recall correctly) and I received it in 2 days flat. Title: Re: Trivium Paddle Order Post by: kvnjjwong on June 27, 2010, 12:06:48 AM yeah i'm ordering them from Bill. he has a couple in stock. i just want to order a few more with people so i can make shipping cheaper. Yea delivery is 2-3 days. do you know if i have to pay canadian tax and duty when it arrives?
Title: Re: Trivium Paddle Order Post by: doc on June 27, 2010, 12:08:45 AM It was me that placed the order to Lithuania. The trouble came from the high demand for their paddles and the guy's English not being great. He is however very nice to work with and will do his best to make sure you're happy. They have a 3 month waiting list for sales from the factory... but it's worth it...
Good luck. Title: Re: Trivium Paddle Order Post by: kvnjjwong on June 27, 2010, 12:29:15 AM I contacted Bill already. he has then in stock ready to ship today.
gonna give the a few more days. or i guess i'll have to order solo. Title: Re: Trivium Paddle Order Post by: NFW on June 27, 2010, 12:40:50 AM Bill packages it quite nicely, so it should be safe and secure.
It was through USPS, and If I recall correctly i had to pay 9-10 bucks for taxes..or was that duty, I'm not sure. Keep in mind though, for the years that I've had it, I've adjusted it 3 times max. It has the capability to adjust but perhaps not quite built for on the fly adjustments coz you always have to carry the L key with you. If you're looking for true adjustability that's super quick and painless, go Apex Ultimate but know that its definitely way heavier than the trivium. If you're set with getting Trivium though, its a good choice as the craftsmanship and finish is top notch. I think the only one that rivals it atm is the new reactors in terms of build quality.
