Title: SWORDFISH (mixed team) is recruiting paddlers to rip up False Creek! Post by: whiterabbit on April 12, 2010, 07:41:11 PM Swordfish is still recruiting paddlers for the 2010 season, both men and women, no experience necessary (though very helpful, since the season has already started). We're a mixed team, in terms of age, fitness, and ethnicities. We're irreverent and like to have fun in the boat (and like to eat when we're off the boat), but when it comes down to it, we're also serious about paddling. In previous years we've placed in upper rec / lower comp divisions, and we'd like to do it again! We practice Wednesday nights 7-9, and Saturday mornings 11-1, out of Dragonzone (Science World).

Yes, we are still recruiting! Come and join us for this Saturday's practice if you can to check us out. We start warming up at 11am at Dragonzone. Look for the blue and white Swordfish uniforms, usually a few of us will be wearing them. Send me a text at 604.317.2208 if you are definitely coming, so we can look out for you.
