Title: Kelowna lady paddlers rock! Post by: goldcap on March 01, 2010, 10:35:38 AM This is very late in being done, however on behalf of the Gift of Life we would like to send a HUGE thanks to
all the ladies in Kelowna that helped us fill our team at the Kelowna festival. We couldn't have raced without you, and I can't say enough good things about how you all chipped in to help, no questions, no concerns. Absolutely fabulous, and if I may say, this is exactly what the dragon boat community is all about. I have participated in team sports my entire life and never had the community spirit in any other sport like I have encountered in this sport. It makes me proud to be part of it people!
