Title: Callers and paddlers and steers, oh my! Post by: Dig Deep on February 11, 2010, 10:31:01 PM RGL United is recruiting for an experienced steers person & energetic caller. We've had to say good-bye to a few much loved team mates and are looking for their replacements asap.
We're also looking for more paddlers, newbies welcome! We have a great coach who paddled with FCRCC for the past few years & was a guest coach for us a few times in 2009. Only thing we ask for is you have the RGL spirit for fun & commitment - we'll turn you into a Ridiculously Good Looking paddler in no time! RGL is a semi-competitive mixed adult team that medalled Silver in Comp C at Alcan last year and paddled Platinum division at Victoria & Kelowna. We organize fun events for fundraising throughout the year and have a mix of paddlers from early 20s to early 30s. Practice times: Wednesday evenings @ 7/ Saturday mornings @ 9:45 Location: False Creek Rowing Club at Granville Island Contact: rglunited@gmail.com First practice will be March 6 with 2 practices a week (Wed & Sat) starting the week after.
