Title: Newbies Welcome - Open House Post by: EOTD on September 08, 2009, 10:37:50 AM We're putting on a Dragon Boating Open House this Sunday, all newbies are welcome to come try it out.
Date: Sunday, September 13 Time: 11:00 a.m. Location: Dragon Zone (just south of Science World) Come try the exciting and challenging sport of dragon boat racing. This will be an introductory on-water paddling experience and all the necessary equipment including paddles and life jackets will be supplied. Wear clothing suitable for working out - layers are recommended and you should be prepared to get a little bit wet whether it's raining or not (the weather is going to be great but dragon boating is a water sport). Dragon Zone is a green trailer situated on the seawall in the south east corner of False Creek just south of Science World. We'll be starting at 11:00 a.m. and be finished by 1:00 p.m. Afterwards we'll be going for lunch and you can come as well. Contact [email protected] for more info. EOTD |
