Dragon Boat West

Hello paddlers,

This is a great opportunity to get your non-paddling friends, spouses, co-workers and family members involved in the sport you love.

On Sunday July 12th Vancouver Ocean Sports will be hosting a Community Cup Challenge for novice/non-paddlers. This event will take place off the beaches at the Maritime Museum and will be approximately 500 meters. This is an outrigger event.

For $25 a paddler will receive two 1 hour practices (previous to race, dates TBD) and entry for the races. If you have previous paddling experience and do not require the offered practices you can pay a $10 fee for the race day entry. All paddlers are guaranteed a minimum of two races.

We are seeking groups of 5 to form teams or you can sign up individually and we will place you on a team. Steersperson's will be provided.
