Ann Phelps GM CIDBFS, operator of the Dragon Zone in False Creek It looks like it would be 300m north of the UBC Boathouse where the GO Rowing & Paddling Association operates. Personally I've never liked paddling in that water, but I guess if people need to paddle close to home in Richmond, it could be an option. Might get pretty competitive/ugly with two paddling organizations vying for the same paddlers in such a close radius though. I've never paddled out of the Boathouse so I'm not sure how it is. I'm guessing success there will depend on how much the fees are and what the amenities provided. Of course that is if CIDBFS does put one there. |
