Title: Deep Cove Team Looking for Female Paddlers Post by: Hazyblue on March 31, 2008, 01:46:01 PM Deep Cove Perfect Catch is looking to recruit 2 more female paddlers for a womens team. If you have some experience paddling or are reasonably fit and a quick learner, we would be interested in hearing from you.
Practices are Tues/Thur in Deep Cove 5:30pm to 7pm. We usually do 4 - 5 festivals/regattas each year - Whistler, Nanaimo, Victoria, Kelowna and False Creek Women's. We are also racing/volunteering at Dash For Cash Charity Regatta in Deep Cove and Paddle for Kids. Our team has been together for 7+ years with most of our core members still paddling - which says something about our team dynamic - fun - but we still love to race (and win!). Cheers Hazel |
