Title: VO2Max Charity Fundraiser -- Friday, April 4th Post by: Sarahbeara on March 10, 2008, 06:46:58 PM VO2 Max Dragonboat Team is inviting all of you to come out to our dinner fundraiser that will help raise money for the team as also The Greater Vancouver Foodbank. It's a wonderful cause and we hope you and your friends can all make it out for some good times!!!!
Friday, Arpil 4th 7pm-12am Howie's Bistro and Bar. 2830 Bainbridge Avenue, Burnaby BC. www.howiesbistroandbar.com Tickets are $15 and include 1 entree ( a choice of chicken/beef/veggie) and 1 soft drink. We will have live music, our own drink specials, a dance floor, 50/50 draws that night and also a raffle draw with generously donated prizes which 100% of the proceeds go to the foodbank. Tickets will be selling from March 10 - April 4 from all team members. Please specify if you know ahead of time which entree you will be selecting, just to make it easier for the restaurant that night. *** I believe the menu choices for that evening will be roasted chicken leg, beef dip sandwich, and either a veggie lasagna or stir-fry*** If anyone would like to bring any unwanted household items that are in good condition or non-perishable food items to donate, please feel free to do so. We will have a collection bin on site that night and will bring all donations to the Foodbank the week afterwards. If anybody has or knows of something that they would like to donate to the raffle draw, please contact any of the team members to let us know THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND OPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!! PS. People that cannot make it, we are sad that you cannot make it :( but you are welcome to donate to the cause regardless :) |
