Title: Female newbie paddler, tons of spirit: False Creek Post by: jjinthecouv on March 05, 2008, 12:22:25 PM Hi all,
I am a female in my late 20s looking to dragon boat. I have never done this before but every year I mean to sign up and always leave it too late. I am a quick learner, I can count and I am not afraid to get wet. I live/work in the downtown area so getting to pratices is easy enough. Let me know if anyone has room, thanks! The False Creek Women's team is looking for new and upcoming paddlers to join the crew this year! We are a competative team that has achieved results at the international level! If you have time to traind are looking for a challenge, then give it a try. We practice Sat/Tue/Thur out of False Creek community center. No paddling experience necessary (just means you don't have any bad habits) - just fitness and willingness to learn. If you are interested, let me know and I can send you more info [email protected] |
