The following comment is highlighted in several threads posted in the recruiting forum Quote The fundamental story of literacy in Canada remains the same as it was five years ago: significant numbers of adult Canadians have low-level literacy skills that constrain their participation in society and in the economy. At least, as they write, the literacy rate isn't declining as was predicted. Sad though, that 50% of Canadians are in the lowest reading comprehension and literacy levels that they've classified.
