I am helping out a dragon boat team that will not be paddling out of DragonZone this year. They have already paid half of their 2008 fee and have been informed by DragonZone that as the time slots their team requested had been held for them since they registered in October and that DragonZone was unable to offer those times to other teams, and due to the administrative considerations involved in refunding the registration, they would be charged a 25% fee on any refunds which would be $208.36. They had paid for twice a week practices for the year (Jan-Dec) with timeslots for Wednesday at 06:00PM and Sundays at 10:00AM? Since DragonZone is now charging $1961.00, are there any teams interested in their time slot? Your team would be saving $294.15 and get prime paddling time slots. You would need to pay $833.42 to the manager of the team and $833.43 by March to DragonZone. Please let me know and I will put you in contact with their team manager. |
