The False Creek Racing Canoe Club A.G.M. will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 7:15 at Emily Carr on Granville Island.

I am very please to announce that a number of changes to the FCRCC dragon boat program are being proposed and will be voted on at this time.  They are:
1.  That FCRCC offer one dragon boat membership which gives all teams the option of booking a coach boat and/or video camera for use during practice times and gives all dragon boat paddlers the option of additional training in marathon canoes and the "older" OC1s (after orientation).
2.  That FCRCC offer three time options for booking practice times:
       January - November
       January - June
       July - November
3.  That the fee structure for all adult dragon boat team membership be:
Practice/week    January - November    January - June    July - November
           1                     $1,300.00               $1,050.00           $550.00
           2                     $1,800.00               $1,325.00           $700.00
           3                     $2,200.00               $1,800.00          $1,000.00
4.  That the fee structure for all Junior and Senior dragon boat team memberships* be:
Practices/week    January - November    January - June     July - November
           1                      $550.00                  $400.00              $250.00
           2                      $850.00                  $600.00              $350.00
           3                    $1,000.00                  $800.00              $550.00
*weekday practice slots before 5:40 p.m.
5.  That full member FCRCC dragon boat teams be eligible for three(3) practice slots/week for no extra charge and have access to OC6s during non-program times (booked through program coordinator) in addition to the full club privileges for participation in OC6 programs, small boat training and coaching.

I just wanted to add the price: $240 per person. What a deal!

The small boat coaching will be $40 extra and will be coached by Kamini Jain, or Jackie Webber.  All the winter training is on the website:http://www.fcrcc.com/
And we have showers!
