Title: Victoria SOS: Any newbie paddlers/groups want to race with us? Post by: SeattleHotSake on August 07, 2007, 12:56:59 PM Seattle Hot Sake (http://hotsake.org) is looking for up to 8 paddlers to race with us in Victoria! Due to various reasons we are having a hard time getting racers this year, so if you can come as a team or group and fill our need that would be even better - Let's join force!
This is for our "second team" and there are already a lot of first-year paddlers, so we welcome other newbie paddlers to join us (as long as you have the basic technique and timing down). Of course, experienced paddlers are welcome as well! Please email us ASAP at [email protected] if you are interested. We already have hotel suites reserved (right next to the race site) and you will be able to stay with us. The Victoria Dragon Boat Festival race organizers are collecting names for extra paddlers, you might want to check with them.
