Title: Paddlers needed for Alcan ... Post by: red on June 04, 2007, 02:48:35 PM We're looking for 3-4 men or women to join our team, the Speediatrics, for Alcan. We practice at Dragonzone on Tuesday nights from 5:15 to 7:30 with Rick van Vloten as our coach. On the water we'd like to be serious (not competitive) but still have fun. Off the water, half the team has dinner after each practice and all of the team meets once a month (or so) for drinks and other stuff (and now we have blackmail photos ... )
If you're new and looking for a team, or if your team isn't registered and you want to paddle, please email me at [email protected] We're also continuing on to the Paddle for Kids and Kelowna, if you'd like to stay with us for the summer after Alcan.
