Dragon Boat West

I am currently putting a group paddle order together so if you're interested in either of the following two paddles and would like "in" on the deal, please contact me as soon as possible.

Paddles available (estimated prices only; exact amounts will be charged to your card):

1) Grey Owl (High Performance) - Wood paddle. This paddle is designed
for the mid to high-level competitor. The shaft is constructed of
laminated ash with a bass core, an oiled maple T-Grip, a cambered ash
and bass blade with a urethane tip. Weight - 24 to 26 oz.
Estimated Price: $52.50 (taxes included) Approx. 1 to 2 weeks

2) Chinook Diablo Carbon Racing Paddle - Carbon Fiber paddle. Each
paddle is made with an ultra light carbon blade, and epoxy composite
shaft with engineered flex to provide the most power, but not
compensate your shoulders. Weight - 16 to 18 oz.
Estimated Price: $124.50 (taxes included) Approx. 2 to 3 weeks

I paddle out of Dragon Zone on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so can deliver paddles there once they arrive. For those who might be concerned about placing an order with someone you don't know...you can ask any Dragon Zone staff member about me and they'll be able to point me out to you on my practice nights.

Ummm Grey Owl HP paddles have an average weight of 20 Oz. (Straight from Grey Owl Website)
So assuming that's a low of 45" to 52" then that's 20 oz average at 48", being generous at 1 oz per inch.

Also they cost approx $7 bucks less for a grey owl paddle than what you're posting.
Don't know where you're getting yours from.

i hate to suggest this, but either whoever you're getting the paddles from is skimming from the top a bit, or you are.   :shock:

alright... be nice people... maybe this supplier is doing it the good old fashion GST way.
so if you think about it $45 + PST + GST = $50.85

okay... time for Nora to renegotiate.

If you read what Nora originally said, it was ESTIMATED price....the difference is $1.65, not really worth getting concerned about.

The prices that I have listed includes taxes and are based on the lowest group rates listed at Pogue Sports. It is rounded off so that it's easier to remember what it will cost...approximately. When I place the order, it will be the real price paid to Pogue; there will be no skimming. In fact...for those paying by credit card, your credit cards will be charged by Pogue and not me so will definitely be charged whatever the true cost will be.
