Title: Taipei Taiwan DB Festival in June
Post by: richard on December 06, 2006, 09:05:12 AM
Hi All

Ok, we have a price of airfarre to Taipei Festival which is $1200.00 per person. The Festival is happening the weekend of June 16th 2007.Hotel, which the festival will cover. I am working out the dates of travel.

All we have to pay for is uniforms (dri fit racing shirt), practice time, and anything else comes up. I am looking for Sponsorships right now what they will get is a cotton shirt with their logo and ours on shirt, and 8X11 picture.

Maybe someone can set up to sell the Entertainment 2007 books for us, and some pubnights. All the fundraising money will go to airfare and uniforms.

YES, I WILL ADD A DAY OR TWO FOR YOU SHOPPERS....

PS: PASS THIS TO OTHER PADDLERS YOU KNOW.

E-mail me back if your interested.

I checked the calendar and it is on the weekend of the 16th.  The dates are more than a month a part because it is based on the lunar calendar.

Doesn't the time June 16th clash with Alcan festival happening in Vancouver?

Hi Richard,

The organizer will provide 4 nights of accommodation and transportation while you are in Taipei.  The team will have to arrive on June 14th and race on 15th, 16th, and 17th, and leave on the 18th.  If you want to arrive early or stay after for extra days, that will have to be your own expenses.

I'll give you more information as they become available, thanks.

Regards,

Daniel
