Title: FCRCC Men's and Women's team Meeting - New paddlers welcome! Post by: Colossus on October 06, 2006, 03:26:49 PM We are having a team meeting on Thursday, October 12th starting at 6:30pm (location TBD, but i believe its going to be in the community centre) to discuss plans, goals, training etc. All new paddlers (some paddling experience is usually a good thing though ;) ) are welcome to attend. Its a great group of guys and gals with tons of advice to offer. Don't worry if you don't know anyone, I didn't know anyone that was on the team (that showed up at least, eh Mr Moaner? :lol: ) before hand either.

it will indeed be taking place at the False Creek Community Centre. need an address? google is your friend. :lol: basically, to get there, enter granville island and stay in the right lane. it will be up ahead on the right hand side of the road just before the Arts Umbrella. Room 289 at the Emily Carr School which is still on Granville Island but on the north side of the island , almost directly across from the False Creek community centre . I believe this will be in the North Building ( closest to the water) . Don't be late !! lol . |
