wow.  talk about free time.

fyi, there was a much more noticeable tide change Sat am, and Sunday's water was overall slower.  The tide seemed to be coming in the whole day.

Let's have a "pool" and bet on who will be the top teams at Alcan.
My money for mixed is on Alpha Dragons Red.
Does anyone know what happened to CIBC or did I just miss them on the list?

that was my impression as well from both watching Sunday as well as comparing the times.  It's just to provide a rough (and I mean very rough) estimate at where the teams are.
The only really fair way and accurate way to rank the teams would be to line them all up and once and run them.  Logistically that would pretty much be impossible.  haha.. that would be a sight to see though... 91 teams lined up at a startline?

We have to also realize that all the boats are not the same.  Some are in pretty poor condition and can affect the performance of the boat (and yes... I am still bitter about losing a chunk of my wrist cuz of the gunnel on that damn orange boat  :yelling: )

So in other words... those ranking mean absolutely nothing and are just pretty numbers

Whatever. Big whoopdee ding dong with your excel worksheets. I run photoshop cc action batches on several gigs of images everyday on 2 cpus, and I am able to log on here while waiting for the batches to complete. Don't be envious of an appealing situation you might not have   actually, i might not have it either come september . . .
besdies, everytime I log in you're already here. What does that mean hmmm???

we got stuck with that tanker in the A final.  %^@#$

Speaking of slow boats...I think we have more than a barnacles and clams plastered to the underside of our practice boat out at DCC. We probably got a whole ecosystem fluorishing under there...starfish, crabs, etc. It's an absolute "Slug" as our coach would put it.  :D
Anyways, back to the regatta topic...
