Title: New Race Director(s) Post by: Guido on February 10, 2005, 01:32:13 PM Wow.....looks like CIDBFS has gone with Co-Race Directors this year!!!!
Larry Chu is back at it again. He used to be the Race Director since it's inception(12 or so years....I believe). He stepped down and let Greg Lamb have a shot at it for the past 4 years. He was also Chairman for a 2 year term as well. Larry Hoe's background stems from being a paddler on the FCRCC Men's team(when it was a REAL MEN's TEAM...... :shifty: ). He also coached Royal Dragons(now defunct...The Royal Bank team(1996 winners of the Cascadia Cup) that kept winning the "Bankers Cup".....oh yea.....back when Rob Varnell(Pac Reach) coached Hong Kong Bank.... :upsidehead: ) for many many years!!!! He also did a stint with GM(The old Roli team..... :wall: ) and the Canadian Construction Women(CCW.....boy did they ever love him :dance: )! Should be an interesting event this year.......ha ha ha......that's all I'm gonna say.......kudos to them. And look.......they even gave us their e-mail so we can BITCH to them!!!!
