Title: Foundation2000+ and Kelowna Post by: ~@ngel~ on July 26, 2004, 06:30:58 PM I heard that Foundation 2000 plus has pulled out of the Kelowna Dragon BOat Festival. Has anyone else heard anything? I wonder what boats they're going to use if not those??

I believe the Kelowna teams actually paddle in their own 6-16's up there. I don't ever recall there being a Foundation 2000plus center up there... I could be wrong though. I always thought that F2000 ship/transfered those boats up there.

The D2's were used in Kent, WA this year. Anyone know how these boats compare to 6-16's? I would think that they would be similar.. or at least hope that they are...
Title: Foundation2000+ and Kelowna Post by: Guido on August 17, 2004, 08:15:56 AM The latest I heard was the dragonboats are being supplied by another group and not Water's Edge. Water's Edge apparently is only responsible for running the races.
The description I got about the D2 was as follows... "the D2, from the description of the Seattle paddlers that paddled this boat in Kent, it is the bottom of a 6/16 and the top of a BUK. He doesn't think that these boats can be raced together because of the weight and the difference of the interior."
