Zeph,  Zeph, Zeph...you disappoint me!!!!!.....now, why do you want to know about the other fast food joints when you feel guilty about the one you frequent already!!!!! (which surprises me....remember what you said to me the other day...which I haven't thanked you for it yet!!!!!)

And Steamroller!!!!!.....

I don't need to....your subconscious is working already.....!!!!!

But seriously people....you're suppose to be athlete's(I'm using this term lightly) ....what are you doing to yourselves!!!!!!!!.....May I recommend a documentary (which I have not seen yet) called "SUPER SIZE ME".

Hmmmmm.....wondering if I should bring my friend out to do a lecture on "Training and eating for the athlete".  She does a lot of hockey camps for her cousin the real "STEAMER".

my faves at mc D's are the two most caloric items on the menu!!!!

do any of u if these values are  measured in Cals or cals???

when i was younger i noticed some charts were in kilo cals (Cals) and others were just cals ...... so i'm wondering if these figures are adjusted to make it seem no so bad.....

Unfortunately, food is always stated by kilocalories...otherwise the numbers would be huge....and people might not eat anything at all.

"...food energy is measured in 'kilojoules'. The common term for this used to be 'calorie' (or 'kilocalorie'), but 'kilojoule' is the term now accepted internationally. This unit of measurement allows us to talk about how much energy a food contains and how many kilojoules are burned up during a particular exercise.

The energy value of one gram of fat - 37 kJ (9 calories)..."

Title: 100% beef
Post by: KOHMAN on June 02, 2004, 02:18:13 AM
Someone told me a couple of days ago that the sticker McD's put on the wrapper of the frozen paddys that says "100% beef" is the name of the company that makes the paddys.

I love false advertising.
